Up-and-Coming Future-Pop Band Seeks Paid Pr Management Support:
at Shadow Orchestra in London
London-based band the Shadow Orchestra (http://www.shadoworchestra.com / http://www.myspace.com/theshadoworchestra) are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to help with PR and management tasks in the run-up to the launch of their first studio album. Following acclaimed gigs at venues such as KOKO and Cargo, as well as festivals including the Big Chill and Festinho, the band are keen to move to the next level. But we need your help!
You:
-are self-motivated, enthusiastic and creative, with experience and contacts in music PR/marketing, band management and/or booking, preferably in the sphere of alternative /electronic music
-have access to the internet, and have experience in the area of social networking for music (Myspace, Facebook, Twitter etc)
-have excellent written English
-are passionate about our music
We are looking for assistance for a minimum of 8 hours per week. Rates are negotiable depending on experience, contacts and results, but likely to be upwards of £10 per hour.
